In the future, VRNE will allow a customer to register as the occupant of a property. This will give them an option to report complaints and to receive direct communication about their property. The ability to communicate with a property owner through an app or text will also greatly improve efficiency.

VRNE uses UNESCO's, “Recommendation on the ethics of artificial intelligence” as its guide for determining the ethics of its services. The goal of the company is to use AI to benefit mankind as a whole. However, it is also recognized that AI could harm humanity. Through the questions below we will provide answers and steps taken to mitigate the risk of harming humanity.

VRNE’s computer vision (AI) models augment human ability and require a human to make any final decision that could impact human rights, fundamental freedoms, and human dignity. If an abuse of our models is discovered, a clause in our contract will require the violating party to resolve the abuse and to perform restitution for the damage caused.

Through using electric vehicles and renewable energy where available, C02 emission reduction is one benefit of the service. In addition, 10% of our income is dedicated to social good. It is possible to use these funds to further benefit multiple ecosystems.

Our service captures data for an entire city. With the entire city being analyzed, each neighborhood demographic is captured. Using census data in conjunction with the captured data allows the humans reviewing the data to determine how to respond equitably.

All data is collected from a public right of way and protected. No private personal information is extracted from the data. Our app uses multi factor authentication, ensuring the data is only made available to the correct party.
